"'O Speniello" di Nino D'Angelo è senza dubbio un classico della musica napoletana. Una canzone di genere neomelodico, ma con un sound di influenza reggae (anni 80) ed un testo che tratta argomenti di strada, povertà, contrabbando, terremoto e droga.

Il mio è un modestissimo tributo in chiave nu-beat/lo-fi/dub a questo brano senza tempo, usato come pretesto per divertirmi con un po' di sample da esso estratti, qualche monofonico ed un bel po' di effetti della Roland Sp-404.

Anche le drums sono magicamente saltate fuori dal brano in questione e dal doppio disco in vinile in cui è contenuto.
